Defeat Worry & Anxiety.

Worrying is the hardest habit to break. We tell ourselves “don’t worry, it’s going to be fine”, but then we do the exact opposite. It is a slippery slope, worry brings with it other negative thoughts. Worry brings fear. Worry and anxiety are tied together, you can’t have one without the other, that is why the Bible tells us not to worry, “don’t be anxious”.

The more we pray the more we defeat our worries and anxieties. The Bible says “be anxious of nothing, pray with thanksgiving.” The instructions are right there in front of us. There’s no confusion, it’s black and white.

• Worried about finances

• Worried about your marriage

• Worried about a diagnosis

• Worried about your fertility

• Worried about failing

• Worried about your ministry

• Worried about you job

So, what can you do with all your worries? PRAY! Whatever worries are weighing you down, keeping you up night, PRAY ABOUT THEM. Give them to Jesus, He will heal your weary heart! His word says to “cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you.” He cares for us so much that He died for us. His death wasn’t so we would stay captive, His death was to give us life and freedom. So, the next time you find yourself in a pit of worry and anxiety PRAY. Let out all your emotions, all your cares, give it to Jesus. Pray more and worry less. Live your life worry free.

“do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:6-7 ESV

XOXO Sincerely, Angela
