You never know the pain someone is dealing with, the daily struggles they face. That they are hiding behind fake smiles but on the inside crying out for help. That they struggle with suicidal thoughts. They might be battling depression or anxiety. You just never know what someone is facing.
As Christians, we are called to love. To love everyone. Not to pick and choose who you want to love, but to love EVERYONE! Jesus came to this world to love it, not condemn it. If the One and only savior came to love the world; why do we think we can do anything but?
We think because someone has a difference in their opinions, religion, lifestyles or any other choices, that it gives us an “excuse” to not love.
Please don’t be like the judge or juror. People need love, support and prayers. You want them to come to Jesus and be saved: Love and pray for them. You think they’re struggling with something: love and pray for them. We never know what someone is going through. We are all good at hiding behind masks or fake smiles, that doesn’t mean we don’t all have hurts. So please, let’s be like Jesus and love people. Stop condemning them of their sins and love them through it. Show them the love of Christ inside of you. Show them compassion. Show them mercy. Show them grace. Most importantly, show them you truly love them! That is the only way to truly help save people.
Xoxo Sincerely, Angela
““I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.””
